Get involved

There are many ways to get involved with The Birth Partner Project. Whether you’d like to volunteer, send a donation or organise a fundraiser, your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of women seeking sanctuary.

Volunteer

Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do at The Birth Partner Project. Small teams of volunteer birth partners work together to provide compassionate support to women seeking sanctuary throughout the later stages of pregnancy, labour, birth, and the first few weeks postnatally. You don’t need any special expertise or experience, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you carry out your role. Read more about what’s it’s like to be a volunteer birth partner or get in contact for more information.

Donate

We are a small charity with a big mission. By setting up monthly giving or sending us a one-off donation, you can play an important part in helping women seeking sanctuary to access the support and information they need to feel safe and empowered through pregnancy, labour, birth and early motherhood.

Fundraise

Fundraising for The Birth Partner Project helps us generate vital financial support as well as spreading the word about the work we do. You could run a marathon, hold a bake sale, host a movie night or fundraising dinner, ask for donations for your birthday, run a quiz night - the options are endless! The easiest way to raise funds online is through Local Giving. If you’d like to raise funds offline that’s no problem, contact us and we’ll share details on how to send the money you raise. We can also provide information and other resources for you to share online or at your event.
